Richard Kreider

July 7, 1928 — June 21, 2021

Richard Kreider, 92, passed away June 21, 2021.
He was born in Wadsworth and retired from East Ohio Gas Company. Mr. Kreider was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a former member of the Cathedral of Tomorrow and most recently a member of the Chapel in Green. He was a leader of the Boys Brigade at the Cathedral of Tomorrow, coached softball teams and played in the Silver League well into his 80's.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma; and brother, Bob. He is survived by his sons, David and Jeff (Jo) Kreider; and grandchildren, Hadassah, Jordan, Joshua and Jacob.
Funeral service will be held Friday, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221 where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Pastor Dale Saylor officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory for Cancer or Autism Research. (McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, Cuyahoga Falls)
