Regina Marie Savick

Regina M. Savick, 95, passed away Thursday, June 09, 2016 at Akron General Medical Center.
Born on December 26, 1920 in Akron to the late Henry & Mary Behrens, Regina was a life-long area resident. She was a devoted wife & mother, raising five children. Regina enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles. She loved her many grandchildren, and cherished the time she spent with them. Regina was proud to have lived independently up to the age 95.
In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her husband Alexander in 1981; siblings Ruth Breen & Jim Behrens; and great-grandson Austin Michalec. She is survived by daughters Jean (Louis) Brown & Rosemary (Bill) Kulasa; sons Michael (Karen), Walter, and Steve Savick; grandchildren Robbie, Sandy, Matthew, Eddie & Chris Brown, Diane (Christopher) Michalec, David Kulasa, Jim Kulasa, and Jason, Kyla, Becky, Stacey & Bryan Savick; and many great-granchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13 at 12PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends from 10:00AM - 12:00 Noon. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. (Anthony, Akron, 330-724-1281, anthonyfh.com)
