Ray A. Carlile

Ray A. Carlile, 89, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023.
He was born in Cairo, West Virginia and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Carlile was a faithful member of Brown Street Church of Christ and retired from Ohio Edison after 40 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carolyn Carlile; sons, Greg (Jennifer) Carlile and Kevin (Toni) Carlile; grandchildren, Sydney and Garrett Carlile, Sarah (Rhett) Womack, Sabrina Carlile, Samantha (Matt) Belcher, Dalton Carlile, Cole (Morgan) Christian and Collin Christian; and great-grandchildren, Luke, Jackson and Addie Womack and Harper and Holland Belcher.
The family will receive friends Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Don Wright officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Cuyahoga Falls.
