Ralph Stanley, 75, passed away July 16, 2018.
Born in Akron on October 15, 1942, Ralph was a lifetime area resident. He served his country as a US Marine during the Vietnam War. Ralph was an Iron worker and a member of Cleveland Iron Workers Local #17. Ralph loved racing cars and being with family.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Eloise in 2012 and his mother and step-father Glenn & Emma Dickerhoof. He is survived by his sons Trent (Deborah) & Tave Stanley; daughter Vicki (Joe) Lombardo; grandchildren Christina & Joey Lombardo and Reese & Riley Stanley; siblings Tave (Jane), Glenda (Paula), David, Diane (Bob), Grace, & Janet.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 24, from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A graveside service with full military honors will take place on Wednesday, July 25, at 10:00 am, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The procession will form at the funeral home and leave at 9:15 am. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, AKRON)
