ALLIANCE - Phyllis Nadine Parks, 73, passed away August 10, 2021.

Phyllis was born in Pennsylvania on October 6, 1947 to the late Viola & Gerald Pitcock and came to Ohio as a young girl. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. Phyllis was a great storyteller and she loved her many grandchildren. She also loved animals and playing video games with her grandkids. Phyllis made pretty good chicken & dumplings. Phyllis was very proud of her Native American heritage, with her grandfather having been a member of the Cherokee Tribe.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brothers Sonny and Phillip. She is survived by her sons John Morrison & Charles Surface; sisters Lindola Lehr, Carlotta Hustead; grandchildren Valeria Morrison, Stephanie & Sarah Pavlick, Larry Martin, Kimberly & Kyrene Morrison, Charlie, Keith & Logan Surface, Tiffany Fye, & William Zimmer; numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4724 State Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264.
