Phoenix Hubbard-Cannon

Phoenix Alonzo Hubbard-Cannon, our beloved son, brother and grandson, passed away in the arms of his parents on July 8, 2017.
Phoenix was born April 26, along with his twin brother Skylor, to Natasha Hubbard and Matthew Cannon. Though he was here a short time, he made a big impression on his whole family. Phoenix was a very happy baby-- strong willed, active and adorably vocal. He loved his twin brother. His oldest brother Elijah was his biggest fan and would pray every day for his little brother. Phoenix will always be our son, brother, grandson, nephew; everyday he will inspire us to be better--to love more deeply--and to try to appreciate the small moments we oftentimes take for granted.
Phoenix leaves behind his loving parents Natasha & Matthew; brothers Elijah, Abel & Skylor; grandparents Sharon & Tony Eleo and Ronda & Richard Cannon; great-grandmothers Arlene Caswell and Cindra Hubbard; uncles Jerry Hubbard Jr. & Scott Cannon; aunt Cynthia Cunningham; great-aunts Marci Eskridge, Cindy (Lowell) Howard and Rene Nichols; great-uncle Guy Cannon; Betty Shumaker; as well as many other loved ones who held him dear.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 13 from 5-7PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St in Akron. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00PM, immediately following the calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, via the funeral home, to help with medical and others expenses.
