Peter Michael Walters

Uniontown - Peter M. Walters, 50, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Hospice of Medina.
Peter was born August 11, 1965 to Richard and Maryse (Gal) Walters in Queens, NY and had been a Uniontown resident since 2003. Pete loved and supported his family. He was self- employed and worked at MOEN. He developed a love of faucets! Pete's passion in life was anything soccer. He was a diehard Arsenal fan. He was a coach for Canton United and thoroughly enjoyed coaching and mentoring "his boys". He was a true "Pittsburgh Sports Teams Fan". Go Steelers, Pirates and Penguins! Pete touched so many lives on the field and off. He will be truly missed.
Peter is survived by his wife Jill (Matalik); son Z. Tyler Walters; and brother Patrick (Lori) Walters. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Philip.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 12 to 2 Pm at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Massillon and Steese Rds. in Green, entrance off Steese Road). In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Pete Walters Memorial Scholarship c/o Canton United SC, 32818 Walker Road #151, Avon Lake, OH. 44012.
