Peter George Knebl Jr

Peter Knebl Jr., Age 90, of Jackson Twp., passed away on May 10, 2026 following a brief illness. Peter was born Aug. 22, 1935 in Yugoslavia to the late Peter and Mary Knebl. He emigrated to the US in 1960, and was a US Army veteran. He married Emilie Falkenstein on Jan. 28, 1961, and together they celebrated 65 years of marriage. He is survived by wife, Emilie, and 4 children: Renee Hyland (Steve Cianchetti), Lori (Craig) Williams, Karen (Christopher) Harder, and James (Alison) Knebl. He is survived by 8 grandchildren: Holly (Ryan) Hudak, Lauren (Masaki) Hyland, Kelly (Sam) Fuller, Cloe (Eddy) Turner, Connor Harder, Nicholas (Autumn) Knebl, Victor (Kelly) Knebl, and Ryan Knebl. He has 5 great-grandchildren and another on the way.

He loved cars, bowling, and being an Opa. Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Green, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:00 a.m.
