Peng Letdara

Peng Letdara, 85, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2107 in Akron.
Peng was born May 8, 1932 in Laos, and came to Akron in 1981. She enjoyed gardening and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Unselfish and forgiving, Peng was a beloved community member.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Peng was preceded in death by her husband Sy Letdara. She is survived by her children Yawn (Wa) Tasakan, Tene (Kiriya) Luangrath, Kon (Tip) Letdara, Seng (Terry) Weaver & Phensy Letdara; and grandchildren Dao, Patrick, Nicholas, Jessica, Tyliah, Alex & Alyssa. Peng is also survived by her grandchildren Sourasith, Nippaporn, & Lutasadaporn and seven great grandchildren in Thailand.
Calling hours & services will be held Friday November 18 from 3-5PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St, in Akron. Traditional Buddhist Services will be held on Saturday beginning at 2:00PM at the funeral home.
