Peggy Gleghorn

Peggy Gleghorn, 88, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in Cuyahoga Falls.
Born in Akron on February 11, 1928 to the late Patrick and Catherine McIntyre, Peggy was a lifelong area resident. She was a beloved mom and grandma, and she really did bake the best brownies.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Thomas E. Gleghorn; and siblings William, Richard, Donald McIntyre, and Kathyrn Harvey. She is survived by her children Thomas Gleghorn and Claudia Bunnell; and grandchildren Brett & Cheyenne Bunnell.
The family is especially gratefully to the staff at Altercare in Cuyahoga Falls for their compassionate care of Peggy during her last years, and also to Absolute Hospice.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 20 at 2PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior, beginning at 1 PM. Private interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
