Pauline G. Sisler

Our dearest Pauline "Polly" G. Sisler, 78, passed safely into the arms of her Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2015, while surrounded by her family at Akron City Hospital.
Polly was born in Grantsville, W. Va. on September 9, 1937 to the late Willard and Lennie Miller. She was an active member of First Christian Church in Cuyahoga Falls, and a former member of North Hill Christian Church. Polly was quite social and very involved in parish activities. She also loved cooking and shared her years of knowledge and talent with her granddaughters. Polly took being a grandmother very seriously, and cherished every moment with them.
In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Harry Sisler and brothers, Gene and Jerry Miller. She is survived by sons, Jay and Jeff Sisler; daughter, Jodi (Brian) Reaman; granddaughters, Hannah and Lydia Reaman; loving sister, Linda Mack; brothers, Sonny and Don; special sisters-in-law, Sandy Root and Cheryl (Mick) Friend; caring friends, JoAnn Embleton, Jean Dickey, and Nora Thompson; devoted nephew, Greg (Rose) Messenger; and many other loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be held Friday, December 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Homes, McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) in Cuyahoga Falls. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls, 2253 3rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m., Rev.
