Paul Raymond Malackany

Paul R. Malackany, beloved son of Mary Jane (Gasparovic) Malackany and Dr. Raymond G. Malackany has departed his life on earth to the heavenly kingdom.
Paul was a 1997 graduate of Perry High School in Massillon, Ohio. He went to Miami University where he completed his Bachelor's degree and then went on to Ohio State University where he obtained his Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Sociology. He was an Adjunct Professor of Sociology at Ohio State University.
In addition to his parents, Paul is survived by his siblings Tanya (Steve) Pickett of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Natasha Malackany of Cleveland and Christopher Malackany of Washington D.C. He is also survived by his niece Reagan Pickett and nephew Jackson Pickett whom he dearly loved and so enjoyed spending time with. He was godfather to Devin and Brian Canterbury.
Paul was respected and loved by all who knew him. We will forever miss his kind soul and gentle spirit. Rest in peace Paul, the peace you so sought after and richly deserved. You are free, free to soar. Celebrate with God. We will always love you.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. Uniontown, OH 44685 (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance off of Steese), where a Parastas service will be held Sunday at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 am at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S Cleveland Ave, Mogadore, OH 44260. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. (ANTHONY, GREEN)
