Paul Richard Bukovesky

Paul R. Bukovesky, 71, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Summa Akron City Hospital.

Paul was born February 21,1949 to John and Barbara (Miklin) Bukovesky in Akron. He was employed by Gougler Industries as a machinist for 33 years retiring in 2000. He then began to work at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church as custodian and as the Youth Minister for the Junior High.

Paul has been a faithful member of Queen of Heaven Parish in addition to working there. He taught PSR for 40 years and was an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. He was a member and Vice president of the church Young at Heart Club.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his sister Rosemarie Testa. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Beth (Austin); brother John (Joyce) Bukovesky; sister Mary Bukovesky; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, in-laws, other relatives and many dear friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685 where a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:00 am. Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery. He touched many lives in his life and would invite you to celebrate his life not with tears but joyful praise to God and with laughter, stories and love.
