Patrick Shawn Sullivan

Patrick Shawn Sullivan, 70, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2024.
Patrick was born on August 22, 1954 to the late James & Eleanor Sullivan and was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He graduated from the Tallmadge Police Academy and worked as a deputy sheriff for the Summit County Sheriff Office for over 25 years. After retirement he worked as a special deputy for the Summit County Domestic Relations Court. In his free time he worked as a 'professional dog walker' and as a recess and lunch aide for the Stow-Munroe Falls Public School District. Patrick enjoyed camping and fishing and loved the outdoors. He loved baseball, coaching his son's Little League team, playing fantasy football, and was a sports memoribilia collector. Patrick was proud of his Irish heritage and was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He especially loved spending time with his pets, especially his loyal pup Nellie and special dog Lucas.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beth; his beloved son Shea; his sisters Pam (Dave) Christy & Patrice (Jim) Burkle, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Patrick's life will take place on Saturday, January 4, at 1 pm, with the family receiving friends beginning at 11 am at the Anthony Funeral Home - FALLS Chapel 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Patrick's name to your favorite animal shelter or animal charity.
