Patrick Duane Burns

Patrick D. Burns, 74 passed away October 28 in peace at his home.
Patrick was born March 12, 1944 to Duane and Ethel (Ringler) Burns in Akron. He owned his own Real Estate Appraisal Business retiring after more than 30 years in the business. Patrick was an avid golf enthusiast and collector and started his own golf decor business. He was also a golf promotor for several national golf destinations. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7, The Golf Collectors Society and former member of Prestwick Country Club and The Stow Jaycees.  He treasured his time spent with family and friends.
Patrick is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Geri A. (Chrapko); children Brian Burns and Michelle (Dan) Dame; father Duane Burns; grandchildren Emily, Allison, Luke Dame and Sara, Samantha, Sofie Burns; siblings Nancy Lukinac and Michael Burns; mother-in-law Anna Chrapko and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road, Uniontown OH 44685 (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance off Steese Rd.).  A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685.  Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the   Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
