Patricia Ann Rogers

Patricia Ann Rogers, 74, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Summa Akron City Hospital.
Patricia was born October 15, 1948, to Corbett Willard and Gertrude (Schutte) Wright in Akron and had been an area resident most of her life. She was employed by Sensormatic in many roles, St. Francis de Sales School, and Gerber and Green United Methodist Preschools. She was a faithful member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where she served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
Patricia was active in beauty pageants. She reigned as Miss Photogenic Ohio, Miss Liberty Belle, Miss Massillon, Miss Dragway 42, Miss Conneaut Ohio and many others.
Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, William; sons Michael and David (Andrea) Rogers; grandchildren Elyssa, Sarah, Wilhelmina, Corbett and Quentin Rogers; great grandchildren Raelynn, Ryleigh and Kyler.
The family will receive friends Thursday July 27, 2023, from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. (Corner of Massillon and Steese Road, entrance off Steese). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685. A reception will follow the Mass and entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Queen of Heaven Church.
