Patricia Lea Kuhajda

Patricia Lea Kuhajda, 85, passed away April 22, 2026.

Patricia was born in Akron on November 28, 1940 to Leroy "Steve" and Gladys Wasch nee Thomas. She graduated from Barberton High School, where she participated in tap dancing, ballet, and gymnastics. Patricia married Joseph Paul Kuhajda on December 6, 1958. She had five children and enjoyed being a wife and mother. Patricia also loved to cook and to sew. She made many special occasion gowns for prom and weddings! Patricia and her husband Joseph enjoyed fishing and listening to classical music and polka together.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Joseph, her brother Raymond Wasch, and nephew Jeffrey Wasch. Patricia is survived by her children Christine (Dennis) Bowman, Joseph Kuhajda Jr., David (Ronda) Kuhajda, Anna (Hassan) Ayoub, and Linda (William) Kuhajda; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 2 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Ohio Living Rockynol, 1150 W Market St, Akron, OH 44313.
