Patty Heisser, 60, passed away on August 15, 2021 after a short, but courageous battle with cancer.
Patty was born on April 10, 1961 to the late Bill & Patsy Davis, Patty grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and was a 1979 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. Patty worked for many years as a tutor at the former Lincoln Elementary in Akron and worked as a unit clerk at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. She grew up as a member of Northampton United Methodist Church. Patty served her country as a member of the US Army for four years, with the majority of her time spent as a radio operator on a Pershing Missile Installation in West Germany. Patty was a proud and loving mother who deeply cared for her children and served as a mother to many kids that she did not give birth to. Patty also had many longtime close friends whom she cared for deeply. The love and compassion she had for others was endless and had no bounds.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband Chad. She is survived by her children Joe (Hollie), Jenna, & Jessie Heisser; brothers Bill of AZ, Rob (Laurie) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ric (Lauren) of Stow, & Mark (Joelle) of Akron; sister Kerilyn Seifert of AZ, as well as many others aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 19, from 5-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stowe Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. Interment with full military honors will take place on Friday, August 20, at 12:30 pm at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
