Patricia Jean Glatz

Patricia Jean Glatz, age 89, of Portage Lakes, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026.

Patricia was born on March 30, 1937. She spent her life devoted to her family and will be remembered for her strength, kindness, humor, and the love she shared with those around her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Glatz, and her son, Michael Glatz.
Patricia is survived by her son Gary Glatz (Carla), her daughter Chris Price (Brian), her daughter-in-law Suzie Glatz, her granddaughter Nicole Glatz, special niece Melissa Smith, and many other loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Patricia spent the last six years receiving compassionate care at Pebble Creek nursing home. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Pebble Creek and to Summa Hospice for their kindness and support.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15 from 12-2pm at the Anthony Funeral Homes - Akron Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. A funeral service will be held at 2pm with a graveside service immediately following at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens 2580 Romig Rd, Akron, OH 44320. The family would also like to invite everyone back for a memorial luncheon that will be held following back at the Anthony Funeral home.
