Patricia D. Friend

Patricia D. Friend, 65 passed away May 6, 2017 due to complications of C.O.P.D. Pat (as she liked to be called) is survived by husband, Karl K. Friend of Stow; children, Robert A. Pierce, II and Kymberly Pierce also of Stow. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Hogan (husband, Roy-deceased); and brother, Thomas Felda and wife Karen of Fairmont, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by sister, Sue Ellen Felda; and parents, Everett and Lorraine Felda. Pat was well known for her love of animals and was a rescuer of many strays in her lifetime. Her love and devotion to her family was unparalleled. She loved her kids with unwavering support and absolutely unconditional love. They are both blessed and proud to have had her as their mom. Her kindness, compassion and generosity were evident the moment you met her. She was a shining star who will be greatly missed. As Pat desired, there will be no services and private cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Pat's name to the Cleveland A.P.L.  (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron)
