Patricia Sue Duff

Patricia Sue Duff, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024 after a brief illness.

Patricia was born in Akron to the late John and Alberta Glatz and was a lifelong area resident. Patricia was the consummate caregiver for everyone in her family. She worked at Akron General for 20+ years as a nursing assistant. Patricia enjoyed crafting and would frequently sell her creations at craft shows. She was a wonderful mother and grandma and she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her stepfather Ernie Holmes; brother Larry Glatz; and Uncle Howard and Aunt Jessie Purdy. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Dennis; daughters Kim (Gearl) Davidson, Debbie (Bryan) Alltop and Julie Duff; grandchildren Amanda, Jessica, Tyler, Katie, Emma, Tanner and Tucker; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Richard (Lois) Glatz; sister-in-law Patty Glatz; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 3 from 5-7PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron. Private Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
