Patricia Ann Cerrone

Patricia A. Cerrone, age 83, of Akron, OH passed away peacefully on August 23rd, 2022.

Born in Akron, OH on September 30th, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Pukas) and John Cerrone. She graduated from Our Lady of the Elms High School. She enjoyed working and was able to showcase her secretarial skills with Goodyear Aerospace, Forest City Enterprises and the Summit County Executive's Office. She also found joy in spending time with family and friends. Patricia devoted her free time to creative endeavors including crafting, floral work and dancing.

She is survived by her children, René Buchtel (Patrick Willow) of Akron, OH and Gary Didado (Rhonda) of Green, OH; her sisters, Loretta Kreps (Gary) of Williamsburg, VA and Joanna Mallo of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Bridget Butzier (Mark) of Medina, OH, Brent Buchtel of Schertz, TX and Danielle Hysell (Tyler) of Sharon, OH; her great grandchildren, Ayden, Lydia and Brynn.

A visitation will be held on Saturday August 27th, 2022 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. with funeral services beginning at 11 A.M. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown Street, Akron, OH 44301. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Summit County, https://www.summithumane.org/ .
