Opal Mattson, age 88, passed away December 21st, 2021 at Western Reserve Hospital from Covid complications.
Loved by many, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton; her 2 sons, Gilbert and Gregory; her parents; and sister, Phyllis. She is survived by sister, Darlene; daughter, Dorothy (Tony); 4 sons, Jeffery (Julie), Michael, Richard (Marsha) and Bradley (Christine); 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church.
Graveside service will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Pastor David Frye officiating. (McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, Cuyahoga Falls)
