Opal Dolores Epling

Opal D. Epling, 96, left this earthly life Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
Opal was born March 27, 1928, to Frank and Gertrude (Oldaker) Hall in Akron and had been a Green resident since 1951.
Opal was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, sons Frank and Daniel, grandson Jeffery McCort, brother Frank Hall and sister Edna Nahas. She is survived by children Janice Mignano, Robert (Diane) Epling, Marti Coleman and Earl (Mary) Epling; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM at the at Queen of Heaven Church, 1800 Steese Rd., where a Celebration of Opal's life will begin at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow the service at the Queen of Heaven Parish Activity Center which was built on her property behind her home of 73 years at 1848 Steese Rd. Interment of her ashes will follow at Greensburg Cemetery.
