Olga (Ross) Vanchoff, 91, passed away peacefully at Greenfield Estates Special Care Center on January 29, 2022.
She was born in Akron to the late Jim and Hilda (Maron) Ross. Mom was a long time resident of the Firestone Park area and worked at the Pflueger Factory. She was a member of the PTA at Leggett Elementary School and Central-Hower High School for many years. She enjoyed painting, crafting, playing the piano, tending her garden, tea time and listening to her Polka music every Saturday morning on the radio. She loved spending time with her grandkids building tents and going on wagon rides around the block. We will miss her lovely smile.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vanchoff, her brothers Steve Ross (Millie), George Ross (Judy), and sister Irenka Ross. She is survived by daughters Susan Kisling (Gary), Patty Powis (Bill) and Kathy Fix (Jeff), as well her adored grandchildren Julie Hackenburg (Mike), Lisa Bartz (Tom), Jennifer Hodges (Darnell), Andrea Klein (Connor), Mallory Pownell (Gary) and Kyle Fix, her great-grandchildren, Owen and Grady Hackenburg, Aniyah Hodges, Eddie Bartz, Everett and Eliza Pownell, and other loving relatives and friends.
There will be a private family service with burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Thank you all for thoughts and prayers.
