Nylah Alma Willey

Nylah Willey, 92, passed away on March 4, 2015 at Akron City Hospital.
Born in Akron on November 16, 1923 Nylah was a lifetime area resident.
She was a member of the former St. Peter Episcopal Church. She retired
from Tower Styling in 2003, where she worked as a manicurist.
Nylah was preceded in death by her father Edger Minner & mother and
step-father Glenna & Walter Kirk; former husband Robert E. Willey and
cousin Gloria Batchik. She is survived by her daughters Cathy (Tom)
Pillitiere of Akron, Linda (Ron) Hamilton of SC, and Robin Willey of
Akron; grandchildren Jennifer (Terry) Wood, Angela (Matthew) Isenbart,
Thomas (Christy) Pillitiere, Michael Miller, & Amanda (Wiley) Beightol;
great-grandchildren Zachary, Victoria, Vincent, Matthew, David, Anthony,
The family will receive friends on Monday, 5-7:30 pm, at the Anthony
Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron and
will be followed by a funeral service at 7:30 pm. Interment will take
place Tuesday at Mount Peace Cemetery in Akron (Anthony Funeral Homes,
