Noy Chou Chan

Noy Chou-Chan, 82, beloved husband of Van Pum Chou-Chan, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 25th, 2022.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia on September 5th, 1939; He devoted 4 years as a Buddhist monk before marrying the love of his life, Van Pum. They were married for more than 60 years and had 6 kids, Am, Hing, Lam, Lom, Mandalay, and Uthay. They came to Akron, Ohio in 1980. They also lived in Long Beach, California. Noy enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Noy precedes his wife, Van Pum; 6 children; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as many wonderful friends.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at Anthony Funeral Home, located at 1990 South Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44301, at 1pm on Saturday, April 30th, 2022.
