Norma Price

AKRON - Norma J. Price, 88, passed away on June 13, 2023.
Norma was born in Akron on August 1, 1934 to the late Glenn & Hazel Ash and was a 1952 graduate of Copley High School. She worked for Ohio Bell for 32 years, retiring in 1984. Norma was a kind and generous person. She loved to play Bingo, cook family meals, read, and spend time with her family. Norma loved animals, especially her Pomeranians Elvis & Purdy and her cat Oliver.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husbands Jack McAvinew & Donald Price; brothers Donald & Allan Ash; son-in-law Brian Cuppett. She is survived by her daughters Jennie Cuppett and Jody (Brian) Field; son Eric (Dorothy) McAvinew; grandchildren Zachary and Joseph Field, Brian Cuppett, and Rachel & Jack McAvinew; great-grandchildren Jasey & Rowan Field.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 20, at 1 pm, followed immediately by a Celebration of Norma's Life at 2pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. (Anthony - AKRON)
