Nicholas Parianos, 83, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024.
Nick was born in Akron on February 18, 1941 to the late Lucas & Helen Parianos, and was a graduate of Hower Vocational School. He worked as an electrician for Bridgestone/Firestone. He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, as well AHEPA #63 and the Pan Icarian Brotherhood V.I. Chibethis #2. Nick loved traveling to Greece with family and spending his time on the island of Ikaria, Greece.
In addition to his parents, Nick was preceded in death by his siblings James (Judy) and Alexander. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Victoria; his children James & Alexandra (David) Utrup; grandchildren Nicholas (Andrea) & Michael Parianos and Christopher & Victoria Utrup; great-grandson Lucas.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27th, 4-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. where a Trisagion will take place at 4:30 pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 28, at 10:30 am at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 129 S. Union St. in Akron. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Akron.
