Nancy Marie Schlimm

Nancy M. Schlimm, 54, of Stow, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 21st, surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Akron, Ohio, in December of 1971 to Joseph and Jeanette Schlimm.

Nancy graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1990. She worked at Giant Eagle in Cuyahoga Falls for 37 years, where she became a familiar and well-loved presence. She was often recognized by customers everywhere she went-even once running into customers while on a trip to Mexico.

She will be remembered for her sharp wit, candid honesty, and caring heart. Nancy had a gift for making people laugh and was someone others could always rely on. Her loyalty to family and friends was constant and unwavering.

Nancy is survived by her mother, Jeanette; her siblings Connie; Joe (Melissa); and Amy (Earl); her nieces Monica and Avery; and her nephews Sam and Aaron. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Schlimm.

The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Nancy's dear friends Jen and Meghan, whose unwavering support, compassion, and presence meant so much to Nancy throughout her battle.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 8th, 2026, from 5-7pm at Anthony & Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home - Stow Chapel, 3333 Kent Rd., where a memorial service will take place at 7pm.
