Myra Darlene (Miller) Barton

Myra Darlene Barton, 62, formerly of Bellaire, Ohio passed away in Akron, Ohio on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

She was born February 27, 1962 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Eugene and Rhoda (Coen) Miller.

A proud alumna of Bellaire High School, Class of 1980, Myra cherished her time as a Bellaire Big Red and was an enthusiastic football fan throughout her life. Her love for her alma mater and the sport brought her immense joy and camaraderie over the years.

Myra is survived by her husband, John R. Barton of Akron, Ohio; children, Tim (Erika) Barton of Northfield, Ohio, Briann (Matt Cooper) Barton of Canton, Ohio, Bethany (Miguel) Martin of Akron, Ohio; nine grandchildren; brother, Kent (Debra) Miller of Utah; and faithful companion, Charlie.

Family and friends may be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm. Additional visitation will be on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Jacobsburg Cemetery, Jacobsurg, Ohio.
