Mildred Irene Naragon, 89, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026.
Born on March 25, 1937, in Buckhannon, West Virginia, Mildred was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Kesling. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Jimmie Lee Naragon, and her sons, Christopher Naragon and Curtis Naragon.
She found great joy in spending time with family, antiquing, decorating her home each holiday season, traveling, and volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House. She volunteered for more than 20 years, and in recognition of her exceptional dedication, she was honored as Volunteer of the Year in 2018.
She is survived by her daughter, Corrine Russell and her cherished grandchildren: Joshua (Anna) Russell, Ryan (Tara) Naragon, Lindsay (Jesse) Miller, Jerry Naragon, Nicole (Casey) Howard, Ian (Tina) Naragon, Christopher II (Krystal) Naragon, Lucas (Rylie) Russell, and Kaitlin Naragon.
She was also blessed with thirteen great-grandchildren: Christopher III, Colton, Dalton, Presley, Bailee, Hendrix, Malia, Falcon, Kora, Kasidi, Leviathan, Nova, and Hollis, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
At this time, no formal services will be held.
