Michael Mellinger, 58, passed away February 22, 2026.
He was born March 25, 1967 in Akron. Michael worked in waste management. He enjoyed music, socializing, and doing jobs around the house.
Michael was preceded in death by his infant sister Michelle; father Fredrick; and grandparents. He is survived by his daughters Stevie and Jolene Mellinger; son Jacob Mellinger, mother Harriet Cope; brothers Terry Mellinger and Corey Cope; niece Mary and her children Devin, Annie, and Nora; nephews Stephen and Terry Jr., and Terry Jr.'s children Ivy and Desmond; grandsons Jacob and Vincent; and granddaughters Sophia, Emma, Kendra, and Luna.
