Michael Joseph Mealey

Michael J. Mealey, 31, passed away unexpectedly on February 3.
Born in Heidelberg, Germany on June 14, 1982, Mike was a 2001 graduate of Norton High School, as well Stark State University. Mike loved the Cleveland Browns and the Michigan Wolverines. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and especially loved spending time in Southern Ohio. Michael was a devoted & dedicated uncle to Robert III, Michael, Bre'Auna, Alexis, Kylee, Aubree, Ashley Robin, Shane, Dale, & Katelyn.
He is survived by his parents Robert (Linda) Mealey, Sr. & Kathleen (Anthony) Praznik; brothers Bradlee & Robert (Robin) Jr. Mealey; step-brothers Sean & Kevin (Melissa) Ayers, step-sister Melanie Praznik, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, at 2:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
