Michael Edward Lombardi

Michael E Lombardi passed away June 9, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born to Janette and the late Robert Lombardi. A 1973 graduate of Central Catholic HS. Mike moved to Arizona shortly after. He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Micro Electronic Engineering and worked for many years at Intel. After his retirement Mike moved to Payson and his passion turned to rock and gem mining. He was a member of several clubs, learned the art of silversmithing and made jewelry from the gemstones and silver. He was an avid Cleveland Guardians fan. Mike loved living in Arizona and enjoyed sharing with anyone that would come to visit. Mike returned to Ohio in 2023 to be closer to family as he battled his cancer. He was able to reconnect with many of his family over the last 2 years and made many memories.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert. Mike leaves to cherish his memory his mother Janette (Jan), brother Doug (Kathy), sisters Nikki (John Stoffer) and Debbie. His stepchildren Donna (Roy) (their children Tony, Drew and Dean,) of Maryland and Susie and Mike of Arizona. He also leaves 4 nephews, 4 great nephews and 2 great nieces whom he loved spending time with. Mike is also survived by numerous cousins, longtime friends both in Arizona and Ohio.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their support for Mike over the last 5 years. A special thanks to his Arizona family John and Chris Imbornoni, Paul and Lynn Serfling for their friendship and care for Mike. A special thanks to Mike's hospice nurse Mark and aide Linzy and all the team from Wellspring Hospice for their compassionate care and expertise, and to Rose Lane Health care center staff who cared for Mike these last few month.
Funeral services will be held Saturday June 14, 2025 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685, with visitation at 10:00 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
