Michael Aaron Giannone

Michael Aaron Giannone, 70, passed away on August 6, 2025. Mike was born on August 17, 1954, in Lock Haven, PA to Robert Sr. and Charlotte (Beam) Giannone. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Jean (Bidwell), his sister Mary and his brother Tim. He is survived by his wife Julie (Wysocki), daughter Erin (Chris), son James, brother Robert Jr., numerous other family members, and friends.
Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He earned his Master's Degree in Communication, was a freelance writer for many years, a Communications Officer, and Associate Lecturer at the University of Akron.
Mike was an avid golfer, had a love of books, music, theater, travel, good food, fine wine, baking and had his pilot's license. Mike loved animals and rescued quite a few. Donations in Mike's memory may be made to:
