Michael Allen Cenker

Michael A. Cenker was born January 4, 1951 to parents Josephine (Paratore) and Michael Cenker, Sr. in Akron, Ohio.
He left his worldly home to reunite with his mother, father and his brother, Bill.
His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends and the many lives that were touched by his pure soul and kindness.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; his children, Mandy (Joe) and Michael (Larisa); and two step-sons, Daniel (Kerrie) and Lee (Angela). Also, his grandchildren, Sadie and Lucas; step-grandchildren, Bernadette (Matt), Addie and Andrew; and one new step-great-granddaughter, Matilda. Other family members are Barbara Cenker, his sister-in-law; his three cousins, Maxine, Shelly and Jeannie; and Sheila, the mother of his children.
Michael attended Hoban High School in Akron and then went on to college at Akron University. After graduation, he wore many hats in his long career as a businessman. There will be a small closed funeral for immediate family and burial at the cemetery.
A Celebration of Life to honor him will be held on his birthday, January 4, 2025 from 2 to 5 p.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Event Center, 4667 Applegrove St. NW, North Canton, Ohio 44720. This will be open to all friends and family. Although Mike's physical appearance may no longer grace our lives, his way to always be willing to help others, his spirit and his love of life will always be in our memories. Please come and share a moment, a memory or a story with his family and friends. No flowers are necessary, only your presence will be enough.
