Melvin "Mel" Duncan passed away peacefully January 6th, 2022 at the age of 93. He remained very active until the very end, even golfing late into the fall. Mel was not a fan of lengthy obituaries which seems very fitting if you knew him. With that in mind, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends for his big heart, kind spirit, do anything for you attitude, and ability to form a connection with everyone he met. Mel is preceded in death by his wife Doris Duncan and daughter Cheryl Leyland; survived by his grandsons Jason (Danielle) and Dean Leyland; great-grandson Ian; son-in-law Randy Willis and beloved nieces Tracy, Judy, Beth, and Lynne.
Calling hours will be held 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service officiated by Rev. Jim Case on Monday, January 24, at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 3333 Kent Road, Stow.
