Melody Ann Tomey

Melody Tomey, 55, passed away suddenly, due to injuries sustained during a home invasion, on Thursday, August 11, 2016.
Born in Akron on April 4, 1961, Melody had been a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of Garfield High School. Melody loved poetry and enjoyed writing poems.
Melody was preceded in death by her son Randall Tomey. Jr. and parents Thomas & Carol Nemeth. She is survived by daughters Crystal (Chris) Howald, Sarah Tomey, & Randi Tomey; brother Mike (Tina) Nemeth; sisters Shelly & Sharie Nemeth; grandchildren Brandon & Cadence Howald, Monique Howald, Tyler Morgan, & Destiney and Audium Ammons; great-granddaughter Martique Ellis; nephews & nieces Kenny Nemeth, James Hershberger, & Joshua, Joseph, Nathan, and Alexa Nemeth.
Melody, we love you so much and we will miss you always.
Private services were held for the family and cremation has taken place.
