Melana Hadinger

Melana (Gligor) Hadinger, 93, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2013.
Melana was born August 8, 1919 to Stanley and Femka (Miller) Gligorovich. She was a lifelong resident of Akron, and a lifetime member of the Serbian Orthodox Church. She was employed as the manager of catalogue sales with Sears for over 35 years. She had been a member of the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church Choir and the Srpska Zenska Zadruga.
Melena was preceded in death by her beloved husband Steve Hadinger; sisters, Sandy Tusco (Mike) and Mitzy Gligor; brother, Stanley (Bud) Gligor. She is survived by her sister Maria Jones; sister-in-law Honey Gligor; nieces, Dana Miller, Paula Whetstone; nephews, Malin Tusco, Stanley Tuczakov and Spencer Tucsakov; stepson Ron Hadinger (Sally).
The family is especially thankful to the staffs of Manor Care Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice for their tender care of Melana.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of services.
