Maureen Mulvihill (Ross), 81, passed away peacefully on Friday March 1, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Born October 5, 1937, to John and Jean Mulvihill, Maureen was fiesty, thoughtful, strong willed (maybe at times stubborn) and always wanted a gyro.

She was the most wonderful mother to her twins- Theresa Williams (Kevin) and Lisa Glas (John), and son James Ross (Grace). She loved, cherished and was blessed with 6 grandchildren- Stephanie, David, Bryan, Samantha, Kirsten, and Johnny. She is survived by siblings, Marianne and Jim.

She was a single mother who raised her children at Summit Lake in the 1970s. She gave her children the best childhood imaginable. She retired as a nurses aid at Akron General, and also worked at Belgrades.

Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Church at 10 am on March 11, 2019. Followed by an Irish wake at The Hibernian Club (2000 Brown St, Akron, OH) from 3-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to Open M (941 Princeton, Akron 44311).
