Mary Jane Helen Wheeler

Mary Jane Wheeler, 84, passed away on April 17, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Akron, on May 23, 1930 to the late Stephen & Mary Kertesz, Mary Jane had been a lifetime resident of Akron. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kenmore. Mary Jane began her career as a bank teller at the Firestone Bank and retired from BankOne with over 30 years of service.
In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband John in 2005, as well as her son Terry in 2012. She is survived by her sons John (Chris) & Paul Wheeler, all of Akron; grandchildren Michael (Melissa) Wheeler & David (Jeannette Coleridge) Wheeler; great-grandchildren Kayla & Alexis Wheeler; brother Steve (Gloryann) Kertesz.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Visiting Angels and Barberton Citizens Hospital CCU for all of the care given to Mary Jane.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 5-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron.
