Mary F. Stith

Mary F. Stith, 88 passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018. She was born in Tampa, Florida and was a resident of Akron. Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the church Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gertrude Fitzgerald; husband, Oliver; son, Kenneth; daughter, Paula; and grandsons, Jerome and Sean. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Maureen), Michael (Karen), Edward (Kristin), Matthew, Mary (Jim) Brunt, Sharon (Thomas) Lipps and Christine (Michael) Polack; sister, Betty (Bill) Timberlake; 22 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral service prayers will begin Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, March 23, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 47 E. State St. Akron, Ohio 44308 .
