Mary Elizabeth Ryland of Stow, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 31, 2024, at the age of 64. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed music, films, gardening, and cooking, particularly holiday meals. She was a staunch supporter of women's rights and social justice work. In recent years, her greatest joys were spending time outdoors, crafting and watching home renovation shows with her granddaughters who loved doing craft projects with their grandmother.

Mary is survived by her husband Mark Ryland of Stow, daughter Rachel Kravitz (nee Ryland), son-in-law Benjamin Kravitz, granddaughters Lena and Talia Kravitz of Strongsville, sister Jeanne Willet of Frederick, MD, brother Mark Seitzinger of Toledo, OH, and sister Catherine Seitzinger of New Castle, PA, as well as several nieces and nephews who will all miss her greatly.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 4 from 2 to 3 pm at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd., Stow) where a funeral service wil take place at 3:00 pm

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Habitat for Humanity.
