Mary Medford

GREEN - Mary Medford, 95, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the VNS Hospice Care Center surrounded by her family. Mary was a very spiritual person for whom family was most important. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She was born March 12, 1921 to Michael and Julia (Yasko) Wolonsky in Central City, PA and had been an area resident most of her life. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers Michael, Nick, George, John, Steve, Joe,and Frank Wolonsky; and sister Ann Radin. Survived by her sons Michael (Deborah) and Walter Medford; grandchildren Kelly, Christopher and Marie Medford; and her beloved sister Jospehine Warrender. A memorial service will take place this Saturday the 25th at 11:30 am at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off of Steese) where the family will receive friends from 10:30 am until time of services.
