Mary Grace Frisone

Mary Grace Frisone, 91, passed away peacefully and entered into the loving arms of our Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday April 4, 2026.
Mary was born on April 27, 1934 to Frank and Theresa ( Grande) Fanizzi in Akron, Ohio. Mary enjoyed being a wife and mother first and foremost. However she did enjoy a career at JCPenney for many years eventually retiring from JCPenney. She loved helping people.
Mary was a devout Catholic and faithful member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Before her beloved husband Linzy passed they faithfully prayed together at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. They also enjoyed travel and day trips. She was a member of the women's Conversanese Italian American Club. She enjoyed many friendships there.
Mary is an inspiration to her family and friends for her friendly spirit and servant's heart. She was a generous soul full of hospitality. Her delicious cooking will be missed by her children and grandchildren. Always something good at mom's house! She was also an avid reader but her greatest joy was spending time with family and watching the kids play. Mary's love for all things Christmas spilled over to her children! She made our house a home. That loving spirit embraced every grandchild and great grandchild. They will always cherish time spent with Nana. Her faith touched each of us and now her faith is sight.
Mary is survived by her four children Toni ( Mike) Padrutt, Maria ( George) Ortopan, Denise( Dan) Myatt, Dan ( Camille) Frisone; her grand children Andy( Ashley) Padrutt, Katie( Eddie) Price, Ian( Kaitlyn) Padrutt, Desiree ( Adam McQuade) Hoffman, Danny(Toni) Hoffman , Triston ( Justin) Smead, Josiah ( Abigail)Myatt, Gabrielle ( Josh) Delesk, Kaila ( Andrew) Waldron, Lazzaro( Carly) Frisone, Connor( Maddie) Frisone and Hannah Frisone ; great grandchildren Riley Martin, Hunter and Colton Padrutt, Abby and Eric Price, Jonathan and Roman Padrutt, Luke Hoffman, Noah and Liam Smead, Aurora Myatt, Isaac and Lydia Delesk, Owen and Halle Waldron, Poppy and Dot Frisone ( and baby Frisone on the way) ; also brother in law Tony Frisone. She will be missed by many nieces , nephews and long time friends and neighbors.
Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband Linzy of 66 years, her parents Frank and Theresa Fanizzi, her sisters Chris Fanizzi and Marge Parise, her brothers Mike and Frank Fanizzi and last but not least the sister of her heart Linda Leffel.
A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon April 22nd at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road in Green, where the family will receive friends beginning at 11:00AM. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
