Mary Feola

Mary Feola, 96, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2017. Born in Akron on October 25, 1920, Mary was a graduate of Garfield High School. She worked as a laborer for the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. for over 40 years, retiring in 1983. She was a faithful member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church of Akron. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Thomas, in 1994, as well as 9 siblings. She is survived by her sons David & Thomas (Melissa) Feola, all of Medina and grandsons Troy & Jeremy Feola, as well as many nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, 11 am, at First Evangelical Congregational Church of Akron 369 E. Woodsdale Ave. Akron, OH 44301. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Evangelical Congregational Church.
