Mary Ann Cosgarea

Mary Ann Cosgarea, 67, passed away peacefully on June 28.
Born on July 16, 1945 to the late Francis & Mary Williams, Mary Ann had been a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of St. Mary High School, St. Thomas School of Nursing, and also the University of Akron. In April, she retired from the Portage Lakes Career Center, where she was the director of the LPN program. Mary Ann was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church in Akron.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband James in 2012. She is survived by her siblings Sister Mary Agnes Joseph, OSF (Kathleen Williams), John (Tari) Williams, Elizabeth (Sam) Lawrence, Paul (Anne) Williams, Susan (Ron) DeWitt, Anne Williams, & Agnes Williams, as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph Kraker on Wednesday, 10:00 am, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Rd. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
