Mary Colberg

Mary 'Jean' Colberg, 87, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2015 at the Canton Regency Assisted Living Community in Canton, Oh.
Born in Akron on September 2, 1927, to the late Raymond & Nellie Barnes, Jean had been a lifetime area resident. She retired from Ohio Edison in 1982, where she had worked in the accounting department for over 31 years. After retirement, Jean traveled the world living each day to its fullest always accompanied by her love, Teddy. She was a parishioner of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, was a member of the Ohio Edison Women's Club and was active with Mobile Meals in her community.
Preceded in death by her husband Theodore 'Ted' A, her stepson Keith both in 2011, and his wife Belinda in 2013 of Irving, TX, Jean is survived by her stepdaughter Kyle of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren Stacey (Dick) Patrick & Joey (Ryan) Ridenour,; great-grandchildren McKenzie and Luke; Daughter-in-law Janie (Jim) Allen, all of TX.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 5-7 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green 4178 Massillon Rd. (at the intersection of Rte. 241 and Steese Rd. in Green, driveway off Steese Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. David Durkee on Thursday, January 29, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church 1800 Steese Rd. in Green. Interment will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Queen of Heaven Catholic Church 1800 Steese Rd.
