Mary Pauline Broske

Mary Pauline Broske, 85, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at her home.
Pauline was born March 9, 1933 to Aloysius and Elizabeth (Hendershot) Pahl in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life.  She graduated from St. Mary High School in 1951.  She was a homemaker, a school crossing guard at St. Paul School for 23 years, a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a member and past president of St. Paul Ladies Guild.  She was also a member of St. Mary Alumni and an avid "Books and Runs" card player.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Edward; siblings Robert, Richard, Patricia, Elizabeth and Joseph and brother-in-law Bernard Broske and is survived by her children Frances Piper, Harold (Adelle) Cregan, Vernelle (Edwin) McGlumphy, Theresa (Patrick) Smith and Michael Broske; grandchildren Christopher (Kim) Rueger, Ryan (June) Rueger, Edwin (Angela), Kathina, Durwin, Duane and Dustin (Samantha)  McGlumphy, Mikiah, Dylan and Sean Smith, Jennifer Pollard and Tyler and Taylor Broske; 18 great grandchildren and brothers-in-law Dave (Saundra) and Jim (Lisa) Broske.
The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 5 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St Akron OH 44301.  A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St., Akron OH 44301.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Donations may be made to St. Paul or St. Mary Catholic Church.
